Supplementation Benefits #1

Well, that’s a hot topic! I have been using supplements in my diet for more than 15 years and I can admit that especially during my professional career in sports I used and tried many supplements in order to keep my physical activity optimal and ready for everything!

While the numbers of 2022 for dietary supplements is roughly around 163,9 Billion it is expected to reach a 327,4 Billion in revenue by 2032. The number is enormous and by all means I am a huge supporter when it comes to supplements for various reasons.

While many people are a bit skeptic when it comes to taking something and a lot of them are against, I believe that the world we live in today, due to the lack of correctly consuming the micro & macro nutrients in our diets that we need, supplements are in fact the only solution.

Let’s dive down and see 3 benefits of adding supplements in your diet:

  1. You get enough of the proper nutrients

Most people around the world are having trouble eating healthy and correctly thus not receiving the proper quantities of nutrients, vitamins and minerals. Many studies have shown that since people are not eating correctly, supplementation of vitamins for example will give your body the correct nutrients. It might not diminish your deficiencies but with an alter in your diet and adding the proper supplementation you will be healthier.

  2. Managing your weight easier

Trying to lose, put on or maintain your weight? Well the correct supplements can support your weight management. If you want to lose weight there are additives you could add in your diet (make a thorough search first ) that will support your weight loss journey. Maintaining or increasing your weight also has things that could support your goal in order to succeed.

  3. Increasing your athletic performance

If you are in sports either as a hobby or professionally your body needs to recover, rebuild muscle tissue and do all sorts of things in order for you to stay healthy and be able to work out again the next day. Proper supplementation will give your body the nutrients needed and support your athletic journey to increase your performance.
